Just a Quickie

Well - doesn't everyone like a quickie?

Just a note to update on the Dr. visit.

1 wound is now officially closed. The second will be by the weekend. The Dr. says I am doing great - and according to his "official" scale - I have lost 149 pounds. Had I only stopped in the bathroom before the weigh-in. He wants to do some of the skin removal surgery himself which is unusual - but it is good cause I trust him - he says in 9-12 months.

As of today the dressing for the second wound is gone - and all looks well.

My long weekend is Sedona was amazing - how could it not be in such a beautiful place - and I have tons of pictures - will add to the blog tonight or tomorrow - stay tuned.

Many hugs - Chuck

Construction everywhere

Good evening friends,

My house has been crazy - all the things I am having done came at the same time - patio roof, new window treatments - landscape designers - people every where.

Here are some pictures of the patio roof:

Next is the attempt to get my landscaping done. The biggest problem are landscape "designers" who don't know what they are talking about - and as you can see it is not a huge back yard - but the estimates are huge - yikes. I might just spend some time in the next few days designing my own yard - and then finding someone to put it in - who knows.

I see the Dr. in Texas this coming week - and I am thinking the news will be very good - I am thinner each day - and getting to know the folks at the clothing store real well.

So - speaking of TX - and I don't believe I have ever said this before - thank God for the people of TX and their voting habits - YEA!!! We are still in this - and look out Pennsylvania - here we come. I will be spending the next week making about 900 calls to voters in PA asking the to support Hillary - so some of you watch out - you may hear from me - not you Sharron - I think I am only calling Democrats - teehee.

Hugs to you all - be well - and much love.

Is that a new car smell?

Hello folks - been a fun week - my sister was here to visit - and we went to Phoenix and Sedona to art shop - what a hoot - we had a ball and got to see Brian and Sherri when in Phx. Susie bought a lot of wonderful art and the weather was amazing.

I got home and decided it was time to move past the broken front seat of my car and get a new one - and here it is - a Ford Escape Hybrid and I L O V E it.

The strange building in the background is the International Balloon Museum - a really fun place to visit when you come see me during the worlds largest Balloon Festival in October.

Here is another picture of the proud owner of the car - Hans helped me take pictures today - the temp was in the mid 70's and it was an amazing day.

I can see I need to do more clothes shopping - its all baggy - I can hardly keep up with the loss - what a burden.

It is my personal opinion that the wounds will be completely closed by the end of next week - and then the trip to Hawaii gets planned - not to late to sign up to go along - let me know.

Well - need to do a ton of work then off to bed.

Blessings and much love to you all - Chuck
